Scooter Rental Prices in Phuket: the 2026 Breakdown

Phuket scooter prices follow a simple logic once you see the classes. In 2026 the realistic street range is ฿200–350/day for a 110–125cc automatic, ฿300–450 for a 150–160cc, ฿700–1,200 for a 300–350cc maxi-scooter, and ฿1,500+ for big bikes — with 30–50% discounts for weekly and monthly rentals.

Prices by bike class (2026)

110–125cc automatics (Honda Click, Scoopy, Yamaha Fino): ฿200–350/day, ฿1,200–1,800/week, ฿3,500–4,500/month. 150–160cc (PCX, NMAX, ADV 160): ฿350–500/day, around ฿2,400/week, ฿6,000–7,000/month. Maxi 300–350cc (Forza, XMAX): ฿700–1,200/day, ฿15,000–18,000/month. Big bikes 500cc+: ฿1,500–3,500/day depending on the model. Deposits and what should be free

Normal: ฿2,000–5,000 refundable deposit for scooters (we hold ฿3,000–3,500 depending on model). Should be included free: two helmets, basic third-party insurance, phone holder on request, and — at least with us — hotel delivery anywhere from Patong to Rawai. Red flags: “insurance fee” added at the counter, fuel charged above pump price, delivery fees inside the main tourist zone.

How to actually pay less

Rent by the week or month — the per-day rate drops 30–50% and this is the one legitimate discount lever. Book direct via WhatsApp rather than through hotel desks (the desk's 20% commission is baked into your price). Skip airport counters: the same bike costs less delivered to your hotel.
