About this Honda
The Honda Scoopy is a Thailand icon: tiny, light and endlessly cheerful. With a featherweight 95kg body and gentle 110cc engine, it is the least intimidating scooter to learn on and the cheapest way to zip between Phuket's beaches.
Rented from our Rawai base, the Honda Scoopy is a retro automatic scooter with a 110cc engine producing 9.0 hp @ 7,500 rpm. It returns around 53 km/L, so a single tank goes a long way between Phuket's beaches, viewpoints and night markets.
It is ideal for beginners, solo travellers and anyone who wants the easiest, most affordable ride on the island. Every BikesPhuket bike is fully serviced, sanitised and supplied with two helmets, basic insurance and free delivery to your hotel. Pay by the day, week or month - the longer you ride, the more you save.
Where to Ride the Honda Scoopy in Phuket
Low seat, relaxed footpegs and torque off idle make the Honda Scoopy a natural for unhurried coastal cruising - Promthep at sunset, seafood in Rawai, and the slow road home.
Ao Yon and Khao Khad tower: quiet military-zone beaches on the east side with a lighthouse viewpoint most tourists never find.
Sarasin Bridge and Mai Khao: a flat, fast 40 km northern run along the airport beach - watch planes land 50 metres overhead.
Collect the bike at our Patong office or get free delivery to your hotel anywhere between Patong, Kata, Karon, Rawai, Phuket Town and Chalong.

Rental FAQs
How old do I need to be and what documents are required to rent the Honda Scoopy?
You must be at least 18. Please bring your passport and a valid driving licence - ideally an International Driving Permit endorsed for motorcycles. We hold either a passport copy or a refundable cash/card deposit for the duration of the rental.
Do I legally need a motorcycle licence to ride in Thailand?
Yes. Thai law requires a motorcycle licence or an IDP with the motorcycle category. Police checkpoints are common around Phuket, and your travel insurance may not be valid without the correct licence. A helmet is compulsory for both rider and passenger.
Are helmets and insurance included with the Honda Scoopy?
Every rental includes two helmets and basic third-party insurance at no extra cost. Optional full damage cover is available, which lowers both your excess and the security deposit. Just ask us when you book.
Can you deliver the Honda Scoopy to my hotel?
Yes - we offer free delivery and collection within Rawai. Delivery to the airport or other beaches across the island is available for a small fee. Send us your hotel name and rental dates and we will bring the bike to you, fuelled and sanitised.
What is the fuel and damage policy?
The Honda Scoopy comes with enough fuel to reach a station; please return it with a similar level. A refundable security deposit of ฿2,000 applies and is returned in full when the bike is handed back undamaged.
