About this Honda
The Honda Wave (Dream) is the legendary Thai cub: a semi-automatic underbone with a gearbox but no clutch lever, so it shifts easily while sipping fuel at up to 60 km/L. Tough, simple and incredibly cheap to run, it is a fun, authentic way to experience the island.
Rented from our Phuket Town base, the Honda Wave 110 / Dream is a underbone (cub) with a 110cc engine producing 8.4 hp @ 7,500 rpm. It returns around 60 km/L, so a single tank goes a long way between Phuket's beaches, viewpoints and night markets.

Where to Ride the Honda Wave 110 / Dream in Phuket
With its light chassis and automatic transmission, the Honda Wave 110 / Dream is happiest on beach roads and in town traffic - U-turns on Rat-U-Thit Road and hotel-lane squeezes are effortless. Fuel stops cost around ฿60 and the underseat storage swallows a beach bag.

How old do I need to be and what documents are required to rent the Honda Wave 110 / Dream?
You must be at least 18. Please bring your passport and a valid driving licence - ideally an International Driving Permit endorsed for motorcycles. We hold either a passport copy or a refundable cash/card deposit for the duration of the rental.
Do I legally need a motorcycle licence to ride in Thailand?
Yes. Thai law requires a motorcycle licence or an IDP with the motorcycle category. Police checkpoints are common around Phuket, and your travel insurance may not be valid without the correct licence. A helmet is compulsory for both rider and passenger.
Are helmets and insurance included with the Honda Wave 110 / Dream?
Every rental includes two helmets and basic third-party insurance at no extra cost. Optional full damage cover is available, which lowers both your excess and the security deposit. Just ask us when you book.
Can you deliver the Honda Wave 110 / Dream to my hotel?
Yes - we offer free delivery and collection within Phuket Town. Delivery to the airport or other beaches across the island is available for a small fee. Send us your hotel name and rental dates and we will bring the bike to you, fuelled and sanitised.
What is the fuel and damage policy?
The Honda Wave 110 / Dream comes with enough fuel to reach a station; please return it with a similar level. A refundable security deposit of ฿1,500 applies and is returned in full when the bike is handed back undamaged.
