Rented from our Patong Beach base, the Yamaha XMAX 300 is a maxi-scooter with a 292cc engine producing 27.6 hp @ 7,250 rpm. It returns around 32 km/L, so a single tank goes a long way between Phuket's beaches, viewpoints and night markets.
It is ideal for riders who want maxi-scooter comfort and range in a lighter, easier-to-handle package. Where to Ride the Yamaha XMAX 300 in Phuket
The Yamaha XMAX 300 cruises Phuket's hilly west-coast road without breaking a sweat, and its wind protection makes the longer northern runs genuinely comfortable. Two-up touring with luggage is exactly what this class was built for.
Samet Nangshe viewpoint (Phang Nga): a 90-minute ride off the island to the famous limestone-karst sunrise viewpoint - fill the tank in Thalang first.

How old do I need to be and what documents are required to rent the Yamaha XMAX 300?
You must be at least 18. Please bring your passport and a valid driving licence - ideally an International Driving Permit endorsed for motorcycles. We hold either a passport copy or a refundable cash/card deposit for the duration of the rental.
Do I legally need a motorcycle licence to ride in Thailand?
Yes. Thai law requires a motorcycle licence or an IDP with the motorcycle category. Police checkpoints are common around Phuket, and your travel insurance may not be valid without the correct licence. A helmet is compulsory for both rider and passenger.
Are helmets and insurance included with the Yamaha XMAX 300?
Every rental includes two helmets and basic third-party insurance at no extra cost. Optional full damage cover is available, which lowers both your excess and the security deposit. Just ask us when you book.
Can you deliver the Yamaha XMAX 300 to my hotel?
Yes - we offer free delivery and collection within Patong Beach. Delivery to the airport or other beaches across the island is available for a small fee. Send us your hotel name and rental dates and we will bring the bike to you, fuelled and sanitised.
What is the fuel and damage policy?
The Yamaha XMAX 300 comes with enough fuel to reach a station; please return it with a similar level. A refundable security deposit of ฿9,000 applies and is returned in full when the bike is handed back undamaged.
