About this Yamaha
Yamaha's T7 strips back the adventure formula: a brilliant CP2 twin, long-travel rally suspension and minimal electronics. A genuine off-road tourer.
Rented from our Rawai base, the Yamaha Tenere 700 is a adventure tourer with a 689cc engine producing 73 hp @ 9,000 rpm. It returns around 22 km/L, so a single tank goes a long way between Phuket's beaches, viewpoints and night markets.
It is ideal for riders who want a true off-road biased adventure twin. Every BikesPhuket bike is fully serviced, sanitised and supplied with two helmets, basic insurance and free delivery to your hotel. Pay by the day, week or month - the longer you ride, the more you save.
Where to Ride the Yamaha Tenere 700 in Phuket
This is the bike for riders who treat Phuket as a base camp: Phang Nga's karst country, Khao Sok and even Krabi are all within a day's range on the Yamaha Tenere 700, and the upright ergonomics shrug off 300 km days.
Naithon coastal twisties: the 4-km stretch between Naithon and Layan is the closest thing Phuket has to a racetrack corner sequence.
Promthep Cape sunset run: ride the coastal road through Rawai fishing village and time your arrival 30 minutes before sunset.
Collect the bike at our Patong office or get free delivery to your hotel anywhere between Patong, Kata, Karon, Rawai, Phuket Town and Chalong.

Rental FAQs
How old do I need to be and what documents are required to rent the Yamaha Tenere 700?
You must be at least 18. Please bring your passport and a valid driving licence - ideally an International Driving Permit endorsed for motorcycles. We hold either a passport copy or a refundable cash/card deposit for the duration of the rental.
Do I legally need a motorcycle licence to ride in Thailand?
Yes. Thai law requires a motorcycle licence or an IDP with the motorcycle category. Police checkpoints are common around Phuket, and your travel insurance may not be valid without the correct licence. A helmet is compulsory for both rider and passenger.
Are helmets and insurance included with the Yamaha Tenere 700?
Every rental includes two helmets and basic third-party insurance at no extra cost. Optional full damage cover is available, which lowers both your excess and the security deposit. Just ask us when you book.
Can you deliver the Yamaha Tenere 700 to my hotel?
Yes - we offer free delivery and collection within Rawai. Delivery to the airport or other beaches across the island is available for a small fee. Send us your hotel name and rental dates and we will bring the bike to you, fuelled and sanitised.
What is the fuel and damage policy?
The Yamaha Tenere 700 comes with enough fuel to reach a station; please return it with a similar level. A refundable security deposit of ฿25,000 applies and is returned in full when the bike is handed back undamaged.
