About this Kawasaki
The D-Tracker 250 takes the KLX dirt platform and gives it 17-inch sticky road wheels for hooligan-grade supermoto fun on Phuket's twisty back roads.
Rented from our Chalong base, the Kawasaki D-Tracker 250 is a dual-sport / enduro with a 249cc engine producing 31 hp @ 9,000 rpm. It returns around 32 km/L, so a single tank goes a long way between Phuket's beaches, viewpoints and night markets.
It is ideal for riders who love supermoto attitude on the road. Every BikesPhuket bike is fully serviced, sanitised and supplied with two helmets, basic insurance and free delivery to your hotel. Pay by the day, week or month - the longer you ride, the more you save.
Where to Ride the Kawasaki D-Tracker 250 in Phuket
Phuket still hides dirt: plantation tracks above Kamala, the trails behind Bang Wad reservoir and the red-earth roads of Phang Nga. The Kawasaki D-Tracker 250 handles all of it, then rides home on the highway.
Old Phuket Town Sunday market: weave through Sino-Portuguese streets, then park free near Thalang Road for street food and murals.
Monkey Hill radar road: short, sharp climb from Phuket Town; go early morning when the macaques are active and traffic is nil.
Collect the bike at our Patong office or get free delivery to your hotel anywhere between Patong, Kata, Karon, Rawai, Phuket Town and Chalong.

Rental FAQs
How old do I need to be and what documents are required to rent the Kawasaki D-Tracker 250?
You must be at least 18. Please bring your passport and a valid driving licence - ideally an International Driving Permit endorsed for motorcycles. We hold either a passport copy or a refundable cash/card deposit for the duration of the rental.
Do I legally need a motorcycle licence to ride in Thailand?
Yes. Thai law requires a motorcycle licence or an IDP with the motorcycle category. Police checkpoints are common around Phuket, and your travel insurance may not be valid without the correct licence. A helmet is compulsory for both rider and passenger.
Are helmets and insurance included with the Kawasaki D-Tracker 250?
Every rental includes two helmets and basic third-party insurance at no extra cost. Optional full damage cover is available, which lowers both your excess and the security deposit. Just ask us when you book.
Can you deliver the Kawasaki D-Tracker 250 to my hotel?
Yes - we offer free delivery and collection within Chalong. Delivery to the airport or other beaches across the island is available for a small fee. Send us your hotel name and rental dates and we will bring the bike to you, fuelled and sanitised.
What is the fuel and damage policy?
The Kawasaki D-Tracker 250 comes with enough fuel to reach a station; please return it with a similar level. A refundable security deposit of ฿8,000 applies and is returned in full when the bike is handed back undamaged.
