About this Ducati
Ducati's air-cooled Scrambler 803 mixes classic 70s styling with modern reliability for a relaxed cruise around Phuket's beach roads and cafes.
Rented from our Chalong base, the Ducati Scrambler 803 is a cruiser / classic with a 803cc engine producing 73 hp @ 8,250 rpm. It returns around 18 km/L, so a single tank goes a long way between Phuket's beaches, viewpoints and night markets.
It is ideal for style-led riders who want a relaxed, characterful classic with bite. Every BikesPhuket bike is fully serviced, sanitised and supplied with two helmets, basic insurance and free delivery to your hotel. Pay by the day, week or month - the longer you ride, the more you save.
Where to Ride the Ducati Scrambler 803 in Phuket
Low seat, relaxed footpegs and torque off idle make the Ducati Scrambler 803 a natural for unhurried coastal cruising - Promthep at sunset, seafood in Rawai, and the slow road home.
Monkey Hill radar road: short, sharp climb from Phuket Town; go early morning when the macaques are active and traffic is nil.
Samet Nangshe viewpoint (Phang Nga): a 90-minute ride off the island to the famous limestone-karst sunrise viewpoint - fill the tank in Thalang first.
Collect the bike at our Patong office or get free delivery to your hotel anywhere between Patong, Kata, Karon, Rawai, Phuket Town and Chalong.

Rental FAQs
How old do I need to be and what documents are required to rent the Ducati Scrambler 803?
You must be at least 18. Please bring your passport and a valid driving licence - ideally an International Driving Permit endorsed for motorcycles. We hold either a passport copy or a refundable cash/card deposit for the duration of the rental.
Do I legally need a motorcycle licence to ride in Thailand?
Yes. Thai law requires a motorcycle licence or an IDP with the motorcycle category. Police checkpoints are common around Phuket, and your travel insurance may not be valid without the correct licence. A helmet is compulsory for both rider and passenger.
Are helmets and insurance included with the Ducati Scrambler 803?
Every rental includes two helmets and basic third-party insurance at no extra cost. Optional full damage cover is available, which lowers both your excess and the security deposit. Just ask us when you book.
Can you deliver the Ducati Scrambler 803 to my hotel?
Yes - we offer free delivery and collection within Chalong. Delivery to the airport or other beaches across the island is available for a small fee. Send us your hotel name and rental dates and we will bring the bike to you, fuelled and sanitised.
What is the fuel and damage policy?
The Ducati Scrambler 803 comes with enough fuel to reach a station; please return it with a similar level. A refundable security deposit of ฿20,000 applies and is returned in full when the bike is handed back undamaged.
